Hi guys
looking at the forecast (variations on a Southerly), and having not sailed at Birubi (which I understand to be excellent in a westerly) where is good to sail in southerly around this area?
DuncO any ideas?
I prefer waves to flat water, but sailing is sailing and given the opportunity to sail I will take it.
Otherwise i'm going to T - Bay, which i'd prefer not to given the crazy kiters that frequent that spot.
Importantly, i want to sail in the comp.
I'm hoping to be up there on Friday as well, so anyone who is around please let me know: a friend to sail with will make my life happier and safer!

If the surf is massive then Fingal Bay is a good option, otherwise One Mile beach or even Stockton is good. I've sailed all three over the years. I'm sure there are other better options too

We are not sure of the excact wind direction. Some forecast are southwest and some are south. There are options as Robbo has said if the wind is South but hopefully we get the Southwest and Birubi will be on.
Either way we will be having a great weekend up there and Im sure that we will get some fun conditions.

Cant wait for the first round. hopefully we score, at least the forcast says there will be wind.
im shore there will be somewhere up there with a good direction. the south end looks like it will be a option if the surf get really big.
