The International Windsurfing Association (IWA) has requested two representatives from Australia, to compete in the Inaugural Beach Games to be held at the stunning location of Club Faru in the Maldives from 18th-25th September 2011.
The event is invitation only, and is to be raced on supplied and new Mistral One Design equipment.
The Australian Windsurfing Association (AWA) is pleased to announce that based on the 2011 Raceboard Oceanic Championship results, John Demol (1st ranked) and Benjamin Morrell (3rd ranked) will be representing Australia.
The AWA would also like to take this opportunity to wish James Grunfelder (2nd ranked) and the other Australian representatives the best of luck at the Raceboard Worlds, to be held at L'Hospitalet de l'lnfant, Tarragona, Spain, from 3rd-10th September 2011
