Missed all the wind interstate and was greeted by a destroyed backyard on returning home.

Well, caught a few knee highers, pretty scary. But a least I got on the water. And yes kev it was ne(seabreeze) not nw.
Yeah mate I know it was nor east down your way, was just saying it was nor west up here and was not questioning it.
Swung nor east pretty late and with no strength up here in the end (about 5 knots).
Sorry for the confusion and glad to hear someone got out and amongst it even if it was knee high.
I'd jump at the chance for anything that size at the moment... especially with a nor easter.

Had nice 2-3ft waves at Wanda, NE blew for a couple of hours around 18-20kts on the 5.7- got out as the wind swung offshore NW and gusted over 30kts - hope it doesn't run out of puff before we get out for the SW in the morning
Yeah was cranking here in the Gong till about 3 (was on 4.7), then went weird and ultimately died and swung NW. Still got a good 1.5hrs in, wast high surf. Can't complain
