20 knot NE forecast for the Illawarra & possibly Newie with a decent southerly swell for Wednesday.
Sydney will probably be a struggling 15K.
good for August anyway.
Whether or not it will materialise, particularly now we've mentioned it, is unknown but i'm definitely taking Wednesday off work if it happens; it's been that long since I bloody sailed i'm going insane.
The forecast certainly looks like it could be a classic setup for Gerroa. Swell direction is right... tide is perfect...
I think the wind could be on the light side but who cares... anything would be a good thing.
Might have to clear Wednesday.

Sat/Sun/Mon southerly might be more reliable...
i can assure you gerroa was a dud. great waves early and looked like it was going to be sick but not enough wind came through.
very nice waves in nulla today!!!! too. im happy with that
i was watching a big sail boat thing a few k's out getting smashed, was alot of wind out far.. but zelch in close to shore,
Pretty devastated that wind was no good :( but like r2908 said there were good waves so got in a surf :)
i thought it would be too windy to surf so left the board at home.
maximum number of surfers out at any one time at seven mile was 4. gutting
