I found a Redback spider on my sail under the trees opposite the servo at Kyeemagh yesterday. There could be more !!!!!

Most likely been living in your sail bag or van

The council have cut down a lot of trees and the spiders are running wild.

Not the council. Windsurfing access across the petrol station to the beach have been blocked by some beach view gaining local unit owner. If you stand on the beach you can just make out who looped the trees for views.
The branches were hacked in haste no doubt for a quick retreat so no one can identify them.
Somebody should remove the branches so we can have our access again.

I wouldn't worry about redbacks to much .
Unless you have some allegic reaction there not going to kill you.
