One of the lads (Chris Simmons) sailing from Peli Point yesterday lost his rig whilst sailing out towards the Freeway near SPYC. Mast base metal gave way. With the wind and swell yesterday it's probably ended up near the jetski area / Narrows Bridge. I think it was an older Mach 2 Severne last seen sinking in the boat channel.
In the off chance someone is down that way or knows any of the ski crew he would be very appreciative of any assistance looking for it, keeping an ear out.

Report it as a navigation hazard, then all the boaties are looking out for it. Else someone may see it and not care
