I have a garmin etrax & have only hit 19,98 knots but i have now hopefully set it at 2 sec instead of 30 when i did this reading & i would like to join a team in sydney thanks max
There are a couple of teams you can choose from.
The Cockroaches, mainly Sydney sailors.
The Double Demerits, a mix of sailors from Sydney and north and south coasts.
Doesnt matter what your speeds are, its all about participation and improving your sailing. Plus its bloody good fun!!

Yeah it doesn't really matter how fast you are sailing. I use the GPS Challenge more as a blog for windsurfing than anything else. Based on the videos of people crashing out at 40 knots plus, I don't think I'd really like to sail that fast even if I could.
