i am posting this because i was wondering if dad and i could use the gps and post sailing sessions on gps challenge sailing on a catamaran or a yacht.? Is this allowed or is it just for windsurfing,because were unble to take windsurfing equipment on our holiday with us.
I very much doubt either Nebs or Hardy will say yes.
My personal vote is no.
This is a windsurfing challenge, kites have been told they're not allowed, so I don't see how cats or yachts could either.
Sorry Izaak, we have to keep it all in the one class to make it fair.
Imagine if someone went out and decided to log a session by rigging a handkerchief on a speedboat... (Don't get any ideas, you lot!!)
In the end the reason it's become so popular is because we're all on a reasonably level playing field, so it's windsurfers only.
