Used to think my duct tape sail repairs looked a bit cheap... Apparently NASA doesn't mind using duct tape for new Mars landers. No doubt they use the high end metalized 3M stuff and not the Bunnings version.
Visy cardboard too?
and Steve Allen has it all over a sail at Luderitz too. What was that about? Or just a fix to a big hole

No doubt...maybe that dark rectangle in the centre was photo-shopped in to hide footprints of the film crew :-)
Having said that, it does seem odd to have the camera placed in a location that has the central field blocked.
