The SpeedReader at www.ka72.com/ now supports SBP files as well as SBN files. If you put in a file that spans multiple days, it will separate it into separate sessions (not pretty, but it works.) Multiple sessions from the same day are rolled in together and the scores calculated over them.
The site tries to determine whether you are using a GT-11 or GT-31 and displays either trackpoint Alphas or doppler Alphas accordingly. I'd appreciate some more testing here, to try and fool it into thinking a GT-11 file is from a GT-31. It uses the firmware revision number to check, and I'm pretty sure there are several more of those that I haven't encountered.

Hi Dylan,
Great work! It split my SBP file into six, the way it should.
All numbers were spot on, including alphas ![]()
One minor point, it might be nice to put an extra <br> between results so that it's easier to see the separation of different days sailing.
Well done ![]()
I've noticed that parsing out the firmware revision is not working correctly 100% of the time with SBP files. I need to do a little more work there, especially as it uses the firmware to work out whether to present Alphas as trackpoints or doppler.
Also, there is at least one submitted file that gives me an "out of memory" error when I try to process it. V. interesting, can't wait to get home and try to work out what is going on there.

Hi Dylan, Excellent with the sbp conversion.
Device: Navilink.GT11

Number of Points: 2863
2 Second Peak (kts): 33.82
5x10 Average (kts): 29.85
1 Hr (kts): 11.36
Alpha 500 (trackpoints): 16.94

Total Dist (doppler km): 28.25
Compared to Realspeed:
33.82 29.85 11.73 16.94 23.36 26.16
Only slight differences between doppler and trackpoints in my set-up.
Great job
