I threw together a ublox 7 based gps its pretty budget with 3 aa soldered togeather for power :) but it has a oled screen , I logged a session today in nmea ( @10hz) but went to convert it to gpx to upload and it was way to big for the online convertor i was using. Does any one know a way to convert this or even better a way i could upload ubx files?

Yes, NMEA files at 10z are HUGE! (Even 1hz NMEA files are!)

.ubx files are a lot more compact from memory. GPS-Results can read and process .ubx files. You can then upload the results from GPS-Results or convert the files to .gpx

You can probably convert them in GPS Babel as well.

BTW. I am very interested in how you configured the GPS. Do you have it writing to an SD card?

Thanks sailquick ill change it to ubx and use gps results it should make things much easier . The set up is just a ublox 7 going to a teensy lc which then sends it to an " open log " logger there is a oled screen also . The separate logger is completely unnecessary but when I was making I thought it was the sd card holder I had but it turns out there was one on the back of the oled display .I might get a neater solution made up on a pcb next week .
