Have a Navi. Download file with Realspeed, save it as a GPX file. All cool. Can see track with Realspeed. Trouble is when looking at it with GPS-action replay, the track shows, but it is NOT the 'active' log. So... you can't watch the little arrowhead thingy move and do its thing. No real drama but can't see why. Any ideas?
Mikey100,
I am certainly no expert here, but can you check the following.
When you look at the data in GPSAR (File, Trackpoints Data Table) is all your data form one day or a number of days. You can also check the slider at the bottom of the screen - it will have a begin time/date on the LHS and End time/date on the RHS.
If your data "spans" dates, GPSAR will automatically parse the "Active Log"s by session (probably looks for a break in the data). On my PC at present I have a tracklog that begins at 10 Jan 07 and ends at 06 Mar 07. GPSAR has created two tracklogs but treats the data as continuous.
If I click on Play, the cursor starts at the first time entry and progresses linearly to the end. In my example and playing in realtime, it will take almost three months before I will see the cursor on the second tracklog move.
To fix this issue, either delete any Active Logs that you are not analysing once uploaded into GPSAR, or parse that data from the Trackpoints Data Table altogether.
I know I havent explained this very well, PM me if you have difficulties understanding what I mean, it is probably my accent.

Thanks 4 the reply. The track is saved from a SD card that has only 1 track on it.(I clear the card after it is downloaded on the computer) and the track has only 1 date with readings every 1 sec. The GPX data table looks exactly like the ones saved from my foretrex, except 1sec. instead of 2sec. When loaded on GPS actionreplay, the words ACTIVE LOG don't come up, just a bunch of numbers. Any ideas?![]()
Sorted it. Dont know why, but the first line of the 1000s in the track 4 some reason does not seem to fit....so I delete the 'track elements' of track *1 , resave the file, and when I put it through Action-replay, all works perfectly. No idea!![]()
Sorry I missed your original post. This issue has come up before. If the first trackpoint has a time/date after the rest (seems to happen sometimes for some reason that is unclear) GPSAR can't make sense of it. If you delete the data for that first trackpoint (I use Notepad to edit it) the file will open as normal in GPSAR.
If this is the problem, it is usually easy to tell by looking at the speed graph in GPSAR. There you will see that the speed line is all on the left of the centre and won't run.
Hope this helps clear it up if others have had this issue.
