where can i get one in perth?

how much do they retail for?

Windforce has them... but most are now going for the Locosys GT-11. It has twice the features, 10 times the memory and half the price. Windforce have those as well.

Oh, I forgot to mention.... it is 10 times more accurate. The foretrex measure only to the nearest 2.4 metres. Even at world record pace of 24m/s that is a 10% error.

The GT-11 uses Doppler and is accurate to 0.05 knots

hey yoyo what about the velocitek any info on that?!? is it inexpensive and accurate too and would it be adaptable to your biceps instead of the booms

The Velocitek SC1 GPS costs A$550 , about 4x the price of the GT-11. It does not have the windsurfing features of the cheaper unit such as Speed Genie.
