Elmo joins the Grand Master ranks, and raises a question in my mind.
When changing age categories, what happens to your rankings???
Seems unfair to carry a younger person's results into an older bracket.
But it also seems unfair to have to start again from scratch????
(not going to affect me, I'm in the oldest category already, unless Herb gets his way and another one is added after 70)

I thought it would work like that. I've noticed that when sailors jump to another team, their previous sessions stay with the old team. Would have thought the age divisions would work like that too.
So does that mean you'll appear in 2 age divisions, one with the old data, and the other a fresh slate ready to start recording.
Or will you have data from the previous division carried into the new?
That could be a bit unfair.
You'll appear in two divisions.
For example, Tim Stockton set some ripper numbers in the junior division, they should stand, while new PB's should go into the open section.
IT'S NOT DONE YET!!!!
I HAVEN"T DONE THIS YET!!
IT"S NOT ACTIVE YET!!!!
IT"S FOR 2009!!!!
Errr how else can I say it?
Cool dude, no stress, I can keep my youthful red fur on a bit longer![]()
Still thunk it's a tad optimistic calling me a Grand Master anyway
