Been researching fins for my 89ltre 2008 falcon and these are coming up as ok but what brand are they? I can't find as link to a website?

They were made by C3. The company was a one man operation based in NZ, but the owner has stopped building and selling fins directly. Some C3 fins, including the Venom, are now licensed to Starboard and used in their production boards. Eg, the venom is sold with the Futura. See your local friendly Starboard dealer. :-)

C3 is the name of the company. Back in 2014 they ceased producing fins due to a partnership split. Im not sure but I dont think they are in production anymore.
Possibly Boogie is making custom fins. Im sure Daffy etc will know more.
They are great fins!!!!

Couple minutes too slow.

Have a look at iFins. I believe these are slightly reworked versions of the C3 models. The guy behind the brand was the European importer for C3.

The Fightclub looks like it's a Sting II. Same with the Air which is allmost identical to the Venom.

The Venoms and Stings are still excellent fins, if you can find some in good nic in the right size give em a go. The Sting sizing is generally the same sizing as other slalom fins, Venoms get about 2 cm longer.

Sounds like CSL should make an antivenene for them!

Bugger. I need weedies. Anything around that is similar but they make weedies?
I'm considering one of these
www.makanifins.com/collections/windsurfing-weed-fins/products/hahalua-v2-weed-freerace-1?variant=786471393
I already have a 38cm one I use in my 75 wide slower heavier freemove and its great . It never lets go and gets upwind great but the falcon is a lightweight skittery bugger ...They say the falcons need a low twist fin...I've sent an email to makani for feedback but anyone used these in their slalomboards?

Tribal fins designed by Chris Lockwood. I am not a weedy user but apparently they rock.

Thanks. I have a weedspeed? and I'm not really impressed but that may just be that I compromised and bought a 25cm to do from a 7.8m - 5m sail..Goes great in the 6.4m - 5m but a pain in the others and picks up seagrass if you're going slow. Last time at canton I was off the plan at the top end and I had to get off and clear the fin regularly. Apparently they make another that is better for that weed.Probably better in WA consistent winds although I'm not the worlds greatest sailor..

The new Black Project speed weed 50 degrees is the best weed fin I have ever used. Bucketloads better than those horrible Delta's and enough rake to slice through the Budgewoi weed islands and not slow down too much. Well priced compared to others too. Speak to Mark Jordan.

The lockwoods are really designed for max efficiency in deeper water with weed floating on the surface, Slowy isn't into heavy weed in shallow water. So yes the lockwoods really rock if the weed isn't too thick.

Wish I'd known that before I bought it.. That's why I'm a bit paranoid about what to get this time..
