Pierre, what do you think of the new ca 50? nice stick ehh?![]()
Wow...you Bug Munchers do put up quite a fight don't you! Snides & Claude - are you going to be able to pull out another one of your marathons to pull us out of second place?
Begrudgingly well done Pierre on what sounds like a very impressive NM.
Thanks all you guys, You WA boys sure know how to put on a show too your times are awesome it really shows when you put in the effort and get your gear tuned right.
Snides about the CA 50 anyone would be mad not to get one if your really into cracking good speeds and to feel totally comfortable this is the board to get.
Except there is one problem it justs wants to go faster especially in the high chop thats where you really have to control it other wise you know what
.
The breeze looks alright for tomorrow Snides! Unfortunately I have neither the ability nor the free time to sail 130km but we would all be delighted if you and Claude can at least take us to = 1st. October has been a pretty strong month across the country so far with SP firing up so it would be a good one to win.
I reckon the coming months will see some really good one hours as we can take advantage of the consistency of the seabreeze rather than the fluky frontal rubbish we have endured over winter.
Hey snides, when i bought the CA speed 44 it was a risk i took never seen the board in my life , so i guess you"ve gotta take chance.
I"ve been watching Lockwoods times and the conditions he"s been sailing in and thought this board hammers , so it paid off BIG TIME.
I guess other sailors dont wont to take the risk unless there is a board on sight OR they are fricken to scared ha ha.
Now that i have the CA speed 50 i reakon my times will inprove alot and cant wait.
I would never have believed that a team with a 47 knot peak could be beaten, but it just goes to show that those moreton bay boys don't give up.
Great to see such rivalry between the states, nothing beats a good close competition ![]()
Keep it up guys, it's great to watch ![]()
I think this brilliant rivalry suggests we may have got the challenge formula just about right, we'll begin review after prizes are drawn.
looks like tomorrow could be on snides. I will do my best to get there responsibly early to crank out some KA Kilometers.
Thanks for the comments on the SP50 guys. I've been having heaps of fun on it the past year. Took it out to scarbs today for a bit of a chop workout. Sweet for cranking out gybes on the swells. Was feeling adrenaline deprived on Friday so went out to crazy waves for a wild ride maxed on 6.6m in 25kts and some remarkably lumpy conditions for a speed board... Scared the sh!t out of myself only doing 33kts!
The month is not done yet. Tomorrow is another day! And there is a better forecast. Not that that seems to mean much these days.
yep Claudes up for it,he has just pulled a wicked hr today and is keen for tomorrow.....
so i will just leave it to you chaps then????....only kidding i will be there but not sure about the slowly eroding wind forecast![]()
it seems the seos just don't want to start to crank this year normally we are in to seos around the afl finals times...still, cant use that as an excuse.
What a nailbiter! Looks like snides did a marathon effort today, and after work as well. Champion effort ![]()
