From the cold north, thinking of all you warm southerners with much envy at the moment.

Hope you enjoy the read, if possible could you show him your support with a comment. He is a great lad and already has clocked an 80+km session, with many 50+. Some of you on GPSTC will have seen him rising with the Portland Pirates under his name - Dogfish.

Its cold, grey and wet here today as it was yesterday and it will be tomorrow. It was like that all of last summer too. Half the place is underwater right now. Don't believe the myth Australia is a land of eternal summer and wide blue skies.

It has to be warmer than this!!! Although that did go last week, when the winds come off the atlantic they warm up and the air temp is about 8-10deg, just about doable once the hot aches stop. Fell in as the fleet was flooding out (its a lagoon, and a lot colder than the sea as the water drains off the land into it, fresh at one end, salt at the harbour end), I thought someone was trying to pull my teeth out it hurt that much!

Must get better at port tack tacks!
