Here is a picture of NASA's next generation

X-43A Hypersonic model.Has set the record at Mach 9.6 , Should be able to reach Mach 10 in the future

Take the scramjet engine off the bottom of it and it looks like a the Speed board of the future. Square nose & flyers.

Where are the windows? I want windows to look out and see the world pass by at Mach 10.

Speed bumps in the sky. Engineers will study the areodynamic forces that whip about the X-43A Hydersonic during its high speed run at Mach 7.

I think you will have to stand on it! It has no cockpit windows or pilot!

You need to get fast enough in order for the scramjet to work. You need to get up to at least a few hundred knots I think.

It is there, and uses acetone for it's fuel. Open up the fuel cap near the mast base and fill her up... It'll go fast, honest...

Why else do you think the shop you bought it from was selling it at such an awesome discount???

They probably bought it dirt-cheap as NASA surplus (as this GFC is playing hell with NASA's funding), then flogged off the scramjet for it's scrap-metal value; it's a Mach 10 engine and I dare say there's a fair amount of titanium in those suckers (pun intended ).

Not to worry, if you give the "Graveyard" in Arizona a call you might be able to pick up one of the Minutemen they had lying around last time I was there. Strap one of them on to your Hypersonic & you'd be a good chance for taking the speed-record back from kiters.....

.... assuming you get the trim right and don't end up going ballistic.

Up, up & awaaaaayyy!!!!

I've just solved the problem NASA just announced they would help us win back the speed record from the Kiters by modifying the X-43A Hypersonic.
They have also said they will only make 200 of these and they will be individually number. If you want one you will have to pick it up in Arizona.
They also noted that your Navi GT31 might start to melt as you start planing at Mach 2 when the sramjet kicks in. They also said it will be classed as push in Winsurfing (Not tow-in windsurfing)
