Was everywhere in the media telling how it was going to break 50kts....crashed....now nothing!

They need to book another time period with the WSSRC (and fix the broken stuff)

Yep, it is back in the shop for serious repairs and modifications. I believe they made complete ****e of it when they crashed, but with Noakes behind the build, I dont think it will be too difficult for them to get it all pretty again. They may be waiting longer for new electronics the the rebuild.

With spring coming and the NE'rs looming I expect they may reconsider their location before commencing testing again. Hopefully they will spend a lot more time on the water before they engage the publicity machine this time.

But when the inevitable happens and speedsailing goes to categories, they'd be in the "deep water with 250 metres of fetch" category. 40 knots should see the best sailboards gone... but they'd still have Hydroptere.
