Trip was amazing fun. I even managed to get some windsurfing in.

Hired some Ezzy / RRD gear in the UK and sailed at West Wittering. Nice beach. We only had a measly 10-12kts which made it difficult to get planning. It was good to get a sail in though in UK.

Also managed to hire some gear in Essaouria, Morocco at the Club Mistral. I hired a 76ltr wave board + 4.2m wave sail. The wind was howling!! It was an estimated 30kts when I hired the gear. I went out for one run and then decided to change down sail sizes. I changed down to a 3.7m as the wind was now gusting to 40kts. That was the smallest sail I have ever used and I was still overpowered! The place is amazing as it generates a very strong seabreeze. The desert temperatures inland is 40-50degrees and the atlantic water temperature is 15 degrees. Essaouria is highly recommended. Great wind, easy gear hire, good beach with flat water.!
