Wide end boom & adjustable out haul, are all you fast sailors using them?
I have mostly got good speeds without but at times I'm not as fast compared to some with the Maui wide end booms then I know fast sailors that use a narrow end boom & no adjustable s but still go fast.
I have just picked up a Pryde with adjustable s second hand its not as wide on the end as the Maui but will it do?
Thanks

I have just switched to a 2nd hand Maui from a SurfSail (Autima?) and felt like it gave my Loft blade 6.3 another gear. (PB 5x on the first outing)
Allowed me to bag it out but still feel stable. Not used the Pryde so can't pass comment.
A well set adjustable outhaul can make a knot difference in my experience to a fixed outhaul and allows more runs on a downwind / upwind course before you fatigue.
