The big inland salt lakes have just had some significant rain. These are usually dry, but after rain you get a couple of cm of water sitting on them. And they are massive... like, in the order of several km long.

So who here owns a kite and a skimboard? [}:)]

How about a computorised sensored 1 cm off the bottom retractable fin system built in. the gps is heddin that way.

I've seen those things on tv. They get a bit of rain and billions of dormant frogs come out and hop around eating each other. You'd better fit a frog bar to your skim board.

old slalom board with a 1-1/2" to 2" ss fin the legth of a tuttle box should give you enough reistance.

wouldnt want to go tits up though

I'd give it a go especially seein as I wouldnt have to do water starts. Only thing to fear is fear itself
