Just brought a GW-60. What's the best program to download for this watch

And there isn't any mac program to interface with the GW60, unless you run windows in a virtual machine, then you can download the GW60 utility from the locosys site.
Otherwise you have to follow the instructions (user manual also available from locosys site) for connecting as a USB storage device.

GPS Speedreader will also offer to copy the files to your local drive when you open it.
On the Mac, keep in mind that the firmware in the GW-60 has a bug that sometimes prevents the GW-60 from showing up as a disk on the Mac. That happens randomly, perhaps once every 10-50 times I try to copy the files. Most of the time, the disk will mount right away, but sometimes, it can take a few minutes or longer, or the disk just does not mount at all. The problem seems to be temporary, and will go away again. I've sometime has success in fixing it by turning the GPS on again to record for a minute or so. If nothing works and you really want the file, you can still get it using a Windows computer or a virtual Windows machine on your Mac.
