Hi Andrew, Glad you got the bug, join the club!!
I'm no expert but I'll give it a go first up. It all depends on the baord and sails and conditions you are sailing in. 2 Aussie fins the Time Machine and the Lockwood McDougal, are proven speed fins, but both need to be fully powered up and sailed downwind, check the KA website or the Intellimass websites for more info on those. There are lots of other good fins around, it depends on the profile of the fin, it's design brief etc. I'll leave it to other s to say more.
