Nice to have a bit of fun with a good tide and some nice wind gusts. And the water is warm again. Pity the wind got stronger as the sun went down. Bring on summer!

You really need to come to some arrangement with the missus... try teaching the kids to recite this in front of her:

"No sailing makes Gestalt grumpy"
"No sailing makes Gestalt grumpy"
"No sailing makes Gestalt grumpy"
"No sailing makes Gestalt grumpy"

lol,

it's not the missus.

the whole familly is onboard with that. i do my best to put on the grumpy face when it's blowin.

it's just that my other love in life (the job i do) excludes sailing during the week.

maybe i can retire?

Are you sure it excludes sailing?

Last week I went out twice during the week -- once in the morning, once in the afternoon, still worked my 37.5 hours and got the job done so the boss is happy. Or do you have a work situation where you have to be there at 9am and leave at 5 on the dot?

I may not be sailing much at the moment either, but I'm ready to get out there with you guys who do the "do do!"

... so, is it something you wanna teach me ?

Hey Haggar. No, not Queens. Last sail was Manly last w'end and damaged myself....not nearly as bad as you though.
I went at it too hard without a harness and really stressed my joints - wrists and knees mainly. Physio and acupuncture this week...nearly good as new and ready to do it all over again.
....with the harness!

Harnesses are good... be sure to pad the nose of your board though

i am working towards a cyclone clause in my awa plan is to start early, skip lunch and leave early but it's something that is only appropriate for those big events.

currently i do 42.5 hour weeks. start 8.30-9 and finish at 6pm. leave at 7am and get home around 7.40 at night.

There's you're problem gestie, so much travel time. I do 42 hour week also 5am-1.30pm though I do regularly give em a few free hours to clear all the damn work that piles up and keep the slave drivers happy. But my travel time is 30 min either way not 1 hour 40min one way.
