Round 1 of Windsurfing Qld's GPS championships is to be held this coming weekend Sept 8 & 9. Please review notice of race on the Windsurfing Qld website. Any questions regarding the event are to be directed via the WQ forum.
This is the second season that WQ has run a GPS club championship, and with the recent interest in GPS speed sailing we are looking forward to a much tighter competition this year.
Just a reminder that this event is only open to full members of Windsurfing Qld. If your membership is not current prior to the start of this event your results cannot be counted towards the club championship. WQ membership forms can be downloaded from the WQ website. For further information on WQ membership please make enquiries via WQ forum.

First round QLD gps event and we had wind, nothing super but still enough to post some decent speeds over 30knots.
The Divisions this year are (5x10)sec, 100m, 500m, Nm with one division drop. ta Vando
