Hopefully I don't totally jinx it, but This w/e is looking good, I know it's early at this time of year, to believe forecasts more than a day or two out? However, I have a THommen1 Fast X 117 demo board for everyone in WA to try out. We can set up different courses for different challenge categories, I'll put out some crab pots to give you a rough idea of an Alpha Course, the NM, and guide people to where the best speed runs are?

PM or email me, and I'll give you my mobile no. and let you know where we go?

No the Thommen1 board that is the prize is the all out speed board, the SR50.

I think the following webpage takes you to the prizes page:
http://www.gybesports.com.au/shop.htm

The following should take you to the Fast X page:
www.thommen1.com/v2.0/index.php?page=world&series=fastx

I've only had 2 planing runs on it, about 5 mins worth, and my first impression was "Sweet", gonna write it up when had a decent go. When you get a board like this, you worry sometimes, will I like it, how will I be fair........ It was a sense of relief that my first impression was sweet!!!! Phew!!!!

PS. A Rescue Boat will be available on the day, so those that wanna take advantage of the long runs, can do so knowing they will be rescued if equipment failure occurs a long way out!!

Looking good, fingers crossed, hopefully I haven't stuffed it

Thanks for the invitation for this weekend but we have only just got our GPS's so the speed Divas are concentrating on getting some time on the water to get some readings. We tested the GPS and aquapacs out on the dogs running on the beach last weekend (Kinky the whippet/x clocked got 43kms and Nori the kelpie/x clocked 38km)so now we are ready for action!!

I have been working around house (fitting out bathroom). The other post was a tactical post as everyone was talking up the weekend, so I sacrificed myself.

Oh No DA Udda Mob is going to be let loose on the world

Looks like we'll be belting across the sand bar on the other side of cox bay, hopefully it won't be to bumpy.

With a bit of luck the wind might swing enough to give "Hardies" a nudge some good high tides at moment so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Hows the toe? all better I hope
