In WA in search of flat water and new PBs, sailors are now sailing in very shallow water which has recently been exacerbated by extreme low tides.
Do not sail at speed in water if you are not certain there is sufficient clearance for your fin or if there is a possibility of hitting projections (rocks etc).

Talked to Ben at Pt Walter on Sunday... he said he got 37... It seemed to be the limit as 4 of us were around that mark. Usually the 2 sec is ~0.20-0.25 less (eg Whitey got 37.1 on the dial but posted a 2 sec of 36.88) but I will go with what Troppo posted on GPSTC.
Pete's done some pretty fast runs coming back towards the jetty on starboard. The wind really cranks there.
