In WA in search of flat water and new PBs, sailors are now sailing in very shallow water which has recently been exacerbated by extreme low tides.
Do not sail at speed in water if you are not certain there is sufficient clearance for your fin or if there is a possibility of hitting projections (rocks etc).

Lots of PBs yesterday, Congrats to you all but especially Annika , Stribo , Windrider, Jet and Col who increased their 2second bests around 3 knots and made huge gains up the table.
Edit 6/2/09 Many more PBs on the 5th Feb. Special mention to Stringer (Nic) who after spending most of the arvo running square through chop decided on his last run to follow the regulars, pinched up to the bar then did a big bear away and was rewarded with the quickest speed for the day at PW which saw him jump from 45th on the table to tenth. Danny went even faster over the Melville flats giving 40 a shake on slalom gear. Well done to you both as well as all those others who set new PBs.
Edit 7/2/09 Steady on guys, I’m spending too much time editing and not enough sailing. 43+ with a 7.0. Smoking Slowie, It’s been a long time coming. Adam you just made yesterdays comment obsolete bumping Nic out of the top 10…not to mention demoting me!
