Somebody is selling a Visual Speed harness. It looks OK, except the hook is a different design, as pe attached photo.
Is it OK? I thought the regular hook would be bette. Any comment?

Visual speed with a reactor bar; that sure is a blast from the distant past.

Just make sure the roller on the bar isn't badly worn, otherwise it can trap the harness line between the roller and the frame; which can make vibes interesting.

The fairly sharp edges on the reactor bar are pretty good at cutting holes in sails. I went back to regular hooks to avoid this.

Most people dont like those roller-hooks because the lip-of-the-hook is really small, typically causing the harness line to be dropped.

If you decide you dont want the bar, I'll buy it from you.
