Hello,
Thanks to some persons on the Windsurfing33 french forum (Manuel Pasquiers, tnerual & Krank), We've just performed to embed speed and angle GPS data in a windsurfing video.
you can watch the video here :

This is done with GpsarPro 2.7 which generates a .srt file from one or several tracks. A .srt file is a sub-title standard format which can be used by video readers. At the moment, the information is speed and angle to wind. In case of several tracks, tracks names are added.

Yann, was this using a Foretrex. There seems a definite step (grid effect) in the speeds.

Secondly, where was the video? If you could somehow include Lat Long co-ordinates in the pic then it would be complete.

Yes Yoyo you're right. We clearly see the grid effects around the 2.4 knots values, and the usual 2 seconds period recording.
With a GT-31, we would have a 1 second period information.
This was filmed in french brittany, and the movie/gps is not from myself. I'm only on the software side of this project, not having a cam myself at the moment.

This is the first step of what we can do. Now GpsarPro enables true timing replays, we will be able to add some replays within the movie...

Wait and see...

Fantastic job. This looks real interesting. Well done Yann.
Geez - you would think the camera man would know how to hold a camera still though!!
