with a low tide at ~ 11-12 am and a SW forecast I'm willing to give VP speed strip a run in the forecast SW - if it turns up. !!

another possible launch is church st. there is a park at the end and some people sail cats from there. it will give a better run out to the bank
but i'll definately launch at thomsons
