Is it ok to use the GPS Action Replay program to analyse the data to post on the site or do you have to use Real Speed?
I dont mind having to pay for the Real Speed program but its just the last time I used my PayPal account it took 2 weeks to process the payment and I am hoping to go out tomorrow and do some runs and have data to post.

Also which file do I use for the data? It seems there are small differences in the speeds when i use the different formats ie: NMEA vs GPX

Pat. To use the doppler data you would have to use GPSAR Pro which can be downloaded for a trial period of 30 days then costs 25 Euro to register. GPSAR is free software but will only analyse trackpoint data. Both should be OK to post on GPSTC. RealSpeed is an Australian developed software by a Melbourne based speedsailor so we should support Realspeed.
Not sure if I will get out tomorrow but I will watch out for you and try to sneak out if it looks good.

Isnt there an easterly forecast for tomorrow? Does the Lake sail in an easterly?

I was thinking of taking a look at Swan Bay and see if its possible to sail there.

If it swings to the south I will go to the lake. I was there this arvo in all of 10 knots lol but it gave me a chance to practice tacks and jibes and play with gps.
