Yep. The dawn patrol would be the go for both wind and tide by the looks of it. I know Tom was keen to have a go but I think I am stonkered by work.

Low tide around 7.30 am so you would want to be rigged at first light.

I caught up with Foxy down there for the early.
In the water at 6.30 and over the handlebars at 6.34 whilst doing 42 knots - wake up call
It looked good although it didn't seem to be super fast.
The low tide was quite high and the wind was constantly swinging and shifting - at one point when we were walking back up the course we noticed that it appeared to be SSW down the bottom end and WSW car park end.
We sailed in mostly 25-30 and one massive squall that looked like it was 40+,with plenty of rain and hail, got me as I was heading back to the start.
Great day, can't wait for the next one

Ah it sounded like fun anyway. It's been a long drought for me. Managed a sail on wave gear in the Bay. Can't wait for the next chance at the PIT!
