Bl**dy hell Neb's, I can remember you dreaming about doing 100 K's ![]()
Great stuff guys ![]()
awesome effort guys!!
a monthly ave of 211k's...i can officially say we wont be chasing that figure down![]()
hope your not going to do that every month![]()
great effort and welcome to the 200 club![]()
Thanks firey and snides,
I very much doubt we'll manage that every month!!!
But once Nebs starts he doesn't want to stop, and I can't help but follow.
Thanks for the support guys.
The trouble is the wind, it's rare to find a day where it blows all day, especially over here in WA. I've had probably a dozen attempts to sail all day, both over east and here, but been dudded by either the wind or equipment failure. It's so frustrating to get up well before dawn, drive for an hour to vicky point ready for an epic session only to sit on the beach waiting for six hours for the wind to come in.
I wasn't going to let it slip away this time!
This only makes Kato's 309 km day (http://gpsteamchallenge.com.au/showsession.php?date=2007-11-03&team=16) even more special in my eyes, that must have been not only a test of endurance but he must have been sailing very fast as well, not pottering around like I was!
Great effort Guys but it does come down to having the time to do the k's
.
Nobody seems to work in WA.![]()
some of us do work
(not to mention kids commitments
)

Well done guys.200+ks Ave for the team is a great achievement.I,m just jelous that you get to sail and I don,t![]()
Yeah, 200 km is a long way to sail. Or it SOUNDS a long way if you express it in kilometres. Not so far when you put it in nautical miles (108), even less in femptoparsecs (64.8).
hmmmm...
Its just a bit further than that across Bass Strait. Easty, there's a challenge for you.
You guys are amazing.![]()
Well done, Nebbian on a top distance.
Decrepit I continue to be super impressed by your fitness and enthusiasm.
Still chasing you both on the individual rankings.
