Thanks. It's hard to keep things in perspective. Just a couple of years ago I would have been over the moon to get a 40 average and hit 42 top speed. Now I am slightly disappointed because I didn't have a chance to do PB's. Looking for a day for a 44 ave and to top 45 max. It was fun though!

It is amazing how the standard has risen in the last few years. Less than 2 years ago Chris was hoping to better his Canal time of 43 on a trip to Sandy and maybe get a top of 45... Now his average is 47.2 !!!

When gps-ss started the NM world record was less than 34knots.. a feat now often beaten on any sunday and a 44 average won't even get you into the top 10 on gps-ss.

Best of all , it can be done on production gear....

Thats the best part - you can walk into a shop and buy gear that will take you to a level recently considered to be achievable only by the elite.

I'll kill the wind for sure, my big fat body mass will create such a vacuum that no wind will be able to generate itself
