Geez Gestalt, you had me going there, I thought they'd just posted another blinder!! ![]()
Well, the month has ticked over, so suddenly we've got no leader anymore. Now's your chance to put your own state on the map, for an hour or so at least...
Everyone's on an equal footing, except for some yank who thinks he's got a chance with a 1000 point handicap. ![]()
P.S. For anyone wondering where the leaderboards for May have gone, they're just hiding behind an extra page that will be added very very soon...
Elmo and I are just about to go out on a glassy estuary, give each other a push, and post so we can be no.1.. within an hour![]()

grumplestiltskin I did think about a sail But backwards flying birds and snow on the hills changed my mind.Did Snowboard a few years ago in wind gusts topping 150km at Falls Creek. That was windy!!!!
Yes it was a crazy north easter in the morning as I was driving to work and being troubled by the fact that I wasnt going down to the Altona speed strip![]()
This is a great little Port Phillip gem that works on a low tide. Its about 400m long, curved like SP and works best in an insane North East blow.
A slight consolation for my state of mind was that low tide had been at 6.45am.
I hope we get to give this one a bash over winter as its worth a 40 peak I reckon![]()

Once again I find myself on the water at dawn....Brrrrrrrrrrr a bit chilly.Very sth wind so I rigged the 5.8 for comfortable day going for a good long distance for the GPS Team challenge,but....the wind had other ideas. First 2 hours were good but it just got lighter, then blew, changed direction, dropped off.Daffy draged out the sonic,Mat thought about rigging formular gear.I changed to the V8 7.0 and spent the rest of the day trying to stay above the water and not have to swim it home....What a great idea Hardie to have a Comp in winter.Carn,t wait for you to come on down to the Pit.We,ll chip the ice for you![]()
