Hi guys!
As it is summer at your place, here in Holland we have a "warm" winter with 9 degrees celsius....so comfortable ![]()
In this small video, shot by Michem Meijer you also see mister mXr himself, Martin van Meurs, pushing the KA Race 5.5 in 40 knots. Unfortunately the conditions were that fierce that speedsurfing was hardly possible. Enjoy!
I also made some shots, which I can post if you like or take a look at my Facebook page:
www.facebook.com/jeffrey.leeflang
for some shots of that epic and insane day...

There is something that pic that reminds me of Bond, James Bond
and licensed to thrill ![]()
Great vid of the Horst in insane conditions
@ redsurfbus
**Bond**??
Well tell you what mate. I don't see any women around.
Besides, ….. its not what you call summer.
So the bond thing you could be thinking of…..
Could it be, ...on the rocks.....?
Shaken not stirred.
@ JEzzY nice shot you crazy Dutchman. ![]()
Been defrosted yet?
Hej hej....still frosting yeas. It's getting colder now in Europe. As we speak, there's another stormtrack passing by now and the speedies Jacques van der Hout, Martin van Meurs and Serge Beumer are at this moment on "Vollerwiek", a speed spot in the northern part of Germany. The guys are trying a record attempt today.
First results are:
Jacques van der Hout at Vollerwiek:
- AVG (5x10sec): 87,25 km/u (47,11 knots)
- MAX: 93,95 km/u (50,72 knots)
- 10sec run: 88,6 km/u (47,84 knots)
Martin van Meurs seems to be in second place, pushing the KA Koncept 5.0 and thinks he drove a PR on 5x10sec. Al data have to be confirmed by GPS speedsurfing.com before it's official...!
