Here's a tip for speedsailors tired of their Aquapacs leaking and finding their gps wet and DOA (Dead On Arrival). Basically it's time to stop dicking around and use a condom. Yep you heard me correctly a condom, the little buggers are great for protection...it's not just the old one eyed trouser snake that needs it. They work great for gps, phones, PDAs etc. You can still operate the buttons and see the screen and you'll never have any damaging leaks again. There's a company called www.skins-mobile.com marketing them but any old dinger will work, except for maybe the ribbed ticklers. Don't believe me, check out the website or try one for yourself. Could be an interesting chat up line at the beach asking a cute girl to help fit your gps up for action, about the only time she'll be impressed by your speed. This is what I call thinking outside the box!

Since my aquapak sprung a leak and other waterproofing units have failed, I seal my gps inside a plastic lunch sealer before I pack in into an aquapak.
You,ve obviously never unrolled them completely, cos down the bottom in small letters it says not for rifle barrels or gps units![]()
