Was in the local newsagent today and spotted (no pun) the new Boards Windsurf mag or telephone book.
On the cover was a great shot of Craig "Spotty" Spottiswood cranking down the run at Luderitz. Very nice shot from above.
huge mag with bucket loads of stuff but especially some awesome shots and info on most of the big guns speed set ups. Very surprising to see the trend towards low booms and shorter harness lines even with big tall blokes.
well done Spotty!!!
YEAH!!!!, Great shot, sweet magazine.
Well done spotty, you're a champion sailor to heaps of us......congrats on some well deserved recognition man![]()

Hmm I'd like to read more about the set ups. How short are they going on harness lines?
A couple of the sailors were using 24" to 26" lines and quite low booms. I cant remember the exact details (I was trying to read the whole article without paying $16.95) but one sailor at 6'4" had his boom at the bottom of the cutout and 24" lines. The big boys like Antoine and Anders were still on 30" and mid to highish booms.
Well worth a read.
