Hi 25,
Actually not that choppy where the photos were taken but was choppy when doing downwinders (120 - 130 degrees) in the opposite direction. It was rolling swell. I had a big stack just over 35 knots. Was happy with a 38 knot peak. I guess it is choppy compared to Sandy point and Goolwa alpha channel.
Cheers
Not sure of the type of camera. Grandfromage one of the guys was nice enough to take some piccies. Always good when someone has a camera.![]()

yeah nice pics Carl i like the first one especially
nice (interestiing)to see a close up of the maui sail with a very even twist.
just wondering who provided all the coco pops to get the water that color!!!!
25, The shots were taken from the water by Pete from Onboard with Grandfromages camera. Snides, the water in January was actually green like powerade and this time it was coffee colour. The mud had a horrible odour. The wind was a steady 20 - 30 knots. The maui is very stable, fast and looks great. I was surprised how easy the isonic 50 and maui 5.1 were to sail. Great fun!!!
Cheers,
Carl
