My current speed gear is around 5-6 years old, if I had the opportunity to invest in some current gear what item would I find I get better speed gains from boards or sails?

You might want to list your current equipment so people can comment on where the best gains would be.

My current gear is a fanatic speed 66 (47 wide), an old 2008 isonic (63 wide) for lighter winds and a set of severne reflex 2's. I have a reasonably new fins MXR's and Maui ultra.

Sails first, then fins, then boards (as long as the current boards have Tuttle fin boxes)
