The boys quick.

What will amaze the crew who haven't seen him sail is that bloody great grin of his as he goes flying down a course.

Its just pitty no other SRM sailors are over there or posting, then WA would be leading the challenge. Come on SRM someone must be able to post some results.

Huge respect to Chris and the other guy,s breaking 40 knots , they have balls !!
Yesterday was my first attempt at speed sailing . I had never been on anything smaller than a 75 litre wave board , so to jump on a 60 litre speed board in challenging conditions really opened my eyes . It was hard to get going with my 90 kilo's of pure flab , but when I did , man it,s a wild ride !!!! I never had the balls to fully sheet in and commit .
My best was a 36 knot displayed and I think I was out of the harness at the time . The new Lorch speed board wanted to go faster , it was egging me on , but I was just too nervous . Definitely more practive required and I need to do some Gonad enlargement exercises .Amac got his best time for the day on my board , so it goes !!!
Again , I am amazed at how these guy,s push so hard in these conditions . I have alot to learn !!

I've followed Pierre down the run a couple of times up here, and I can just pretend to keep up on a reach, but when he bears away it's like he's got two afterburners going full throttle. That day at Wello was the same, it was all I could do to keep upright in the gusts, but Vando and he just sheeted in and rocketed past...
