Pat, have used this video to analyse my laydown gybe technique.. It shows I've perfected the laydown part.. not just gotta get the gybe part as well!
That was great to watch. OceanBlue, can you tell me what sort of camera you use and did you use a tripod? Also what software do you use to make the movie?
Thats a good result on what sounds like quite standard equipment. I'm thinking of buying a video camera. I had a look in a few shops the other day and there are a couple of 1080p cameras out there for around $500.
Know the feeling. We are probably buying a new car this week so there will be few windsurfing purchases next year or any other toys.
Was that sailing in a river or a bay? It looked like you could stand out on a sand bar or something like that. Looks like a great spot to sail.
Hey Pat, great work with the filming, editing and production. Sometimes the best stuff comes for a hurried job. Its intersting to see the antics of Red's board when he eases the mast foot pressure. Thanks for capturing the days fun.
Pat,
same spot but an older video of Geoff and I sailing same spot (nowhere near the professionalism of yours - dragged the wife down under duress!)
...and a gusty one at that. Unlike last w/end where the problem was getting knocked off your board in the middle of the channel by a gust, on that particular occasion the problem was you fell off in the middle of the channel becaues of a lull.
