Good one Leo. I like the intro, underwater shot of the Lake Illawarra weed beds. At sunrise! Not a sight I've seen before.
Very cool footage Leo. Your going to have to teach me how to edit better as that was NOICE!
If only I had some new slalom boards to play on.![]()

but its not looking good at the moment unfortunately.
Love to see what i could improve on
keep ya posted kato
Great work there Leo, loved how steady the cam stayed at the mast head, a sign of how flat the water was
Great clip Leo. Man that water looks shallow! Kinda adds to the adrenaline, like "Will I hit land now" going through your head again and again.![]()
Last time I sailed water so fast so shallow was Shoalhaven heads early '90's before the mouth closed over. Nasty catapults there too.
terrific vidio leo gracefull dismount were you hitting bottom or just loose it ???
i'll have to give that place a go look's challenging.
bring a small fin nothing bigger than a 26 and it needs to be a weedy 45 theres a lot of weed and from the footage its 12 inches deep in most places so try not to stack..
the fin spun out on me totally my fault I bogged it up to take a mould of it before it got too trashed but didn't sand it back off ... amazing what a couple of mm difference makes... sailed on it at the same place on tuesday after a bit of work to it and pulled a 41kn run and 2 over 40kn its the best place to sail for sure .. just bring table spoon of bravery or two T spoons of stupidity if you want flat water sailing ![]()
