I guess this is too early to tell if it's enough for LG?
Thoughts?

They'd need some decent rain. It was almost a puddle by the end of February.

It looked like they were due for a downpour, but I guess not enough

LG and surrounds have had between 50 to 100mm from end of Feb to end of May. June's results will be available at the end of the month.

I've no idea how much is enough, but I suspect it needs to be substantially more.

Thanks ?? photo at 5mile. Lakes are still separated and middle lake close to empty. Zero inflow.

Walk out and see how many fins you find (that's if you don't sink).

Danny found a couple a few weeks back 5 metres from a big rock but not his . Lots of dead 15cm red crabs. Tried for George's fangy fin but too much mud in that spot even with metal detector.

After heavy rain all through 2016 - 2017, the lake level rose very high. They opened the sea channel to presumably lower the lake level to stop flooding of low-lying areas of Beachport.

The subsequent water clarity and weed growth for the 2018 season was epic.

Based on John's post, seems a bit of shovel work to fill that drainage channel, and you're in business

29/11 are the dark patches hints of weed regrowth?
