Yeah was pleased to get one more good sail in before i went. Bit disapointed Alex (brother) didn't get a go with the GPS as well but he came in a bit earlier. Dave Mossop should post sometime soon as well because we all headed out together. Can't wait to get back into it when i get back. Annoyed i won't be able to have another go for so long now, but got to live with it i suppose. When i get back i should be even better and have much for energy to go which will help a lot.
Looking forward to it.
Cheers
Bubs
Thanks guys, Anthony will post his times in the next couple of days(he's out camping) going to Sandy Point does give you an advantage i would have liked 30+knts of wind but we still had a great time.
The trip did make me realise something........that i've still got 30+ years of sailing left in me i have to take my hat of to the senior guys down at Sandy Point 57-70 years of age these guys are as keen as a teenagers and the sail as hard as anyone.
age is no barrier.. only the mind.. my regular sailing buddy for the last 27 years or so will be 81 in a couple of months. that means there was a 65 year age range between the sailors at the Murray mouth on good Friday!
