I noticed that when i went out today i had a 20 minute break and i didn't turn off my gps during the break.

should i?

does it effect the averages enough to make a difference?

thanks jet.

Nope, just leave it on. It's much easier to manage if you only have one track. And a 1 hour average is an average of one hour in the real world, not one hour's sailing time

Sorry - just couldn't resist

I guess that would only matter if we had "time on water" as a score. But all the current measures aren't "improved" by having a rest.

What spot did you sail at?

I should have come down, to catch up. Thought most had gone bush for the long weekend.

The usual Mettams to Sorrento today. Yesterday just at Watermans very late. Popped in at Hardies and saw the guys in action yesterday but couldn't organise getting the gear there as well. Was back in Perth in time to get on the water by 6:00
