Just a note to remind all you speed enthusiasts that Windsurfing WA has GPS units available to borrow (exclusively to current members - and at no cost
)
They come with their own aquapac and you can borrow them for a few weeks at a time.
All you need to do is join WWA - Go to the website - Register and log-in - Join and pay on-line via Paypal or direct transfer.
$55 - then this offer and all WWA events* over summer are free.
*Note - Some events on the WA calendar are not WWA events. e.g. Lancelin.
Once you're a member just follow the links on the WWA site and we'll organise for you to pick one up - charged and ready for action - we even throw in some coaching on how to get youself set up on your own computer.

This is a great initiative and a good reason to join.
When you wear a gps, you get real feedback, not imaginary stuff you make up in your mind, and there are programs such as realspeed that can analyse many different features of your sailing.
Really worth trying if you never have!!
