Guys,

I'm searching through some old .gpx files from my Garmin days trying to find a session that I know had a kick-ass gybe in it. For curiosity I'd like to know what sort of alpha it was. It happened back in late 2006 when Alpha Racing wasn't really known.

I can open my .gpx files in Realspeed, but it won't calculate an alpha 500 for me.

Any ideas?

Change your alpha calculation to "Doppler if available". Chances are it's set on "Doppler" at the moment.

Thanks Nebs.

I actually just ran all my sessions that I had on my F2 Missile (board at the time) through KA72.com.

The best Alpha I could find was only around 22knots.

I don't what I was remembering. In my mind, I had an image of myself possibly pulling a 29 or so.

Oh well...... that joy was short lived.
